We hand-harvest daily at “the tip of freshness”, grade to seven different thicknesses, and then lock in that just-picked flavour with our proprietary hydro-cooling method. Welsh Bros asparagus deliver just-picked freshness and the flavour that’s made us famous…in every size and in every bite.

*For optimal shelf-life wrap asparagus base in a damp paper towel, place in a plastic bag, and store in the refrigerator.

Patience is the key when it comes to Welsh Bros asparagus. Asparagus roots are planted – and then – following three years of nurturing, the plants are ready for harvest. Developed at the University of Guelph, Welsh Bros Millennium Asparagus are the perfect match for our growing season – delivering just-picked flavour in every spear.
ORGANIC MILLENNIUM ASPARAGUS
Our first crop of organic asparagus was planted in 2001, and today, organic asparagus accounts for more than half of our production. Using cover crops of rye and dutch white clover to suppress weed growth, along with organic compost for fertilizer deliver organic asparagus with the premium flavour you’ve come to know from Welsh Bros.
